PUZZLES
Every JRMF puzzle is hands-on and designed to promote collaboration, play, and problem-solving.
After selecting a puzzle, you’ll find these free resources:
- 1) Activity Guide (materials, instructions, and puzzle sheets)
- 2) Beginner Version (for PreK – 2nd grade students)
- 3) Spanish Version
- 4) Padlet (allows you to try out the activity digitally)
All of our materials are provided for free to support personal, educational, and community use. We ask that you do not use JRMF content for resale or paid programming.
Brain Power will be hosting the JRMF Math Fair at our Etobicoke campus.
Whether your child already loves math or is simply curious to try something new, the Julia Robinson Math Festival is designed to show students that mathematics can be creative, social, surprising, and fun!
Join us at the 52nd AMATYC Annual Conference for a morning of fun math for the whole family!
At the math festival, you’ll get to explore variety of hands-on math puzzles and games that are great for children and adults of all ages.
This event is free and open to everyone. Please complete a registration form for each of your children so that we know how many people to expect.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
If you’re interested in volunteering at this event and helping us share the joy of math, contact us at info@jrmf.org. We’ll be providing a training right before the math festival, so there’s no need for a background in math or education. As long as you’re excited to share joyful math with students, you’ll make a perfect math festival volunteer!
