This mathematics festival is open to students in grades 6-12 and will take place 9:00am – 12:00pm on Sunday, May 1st, 2016. It will be held at Stanford’s McCaw Hall, Arrillaga Alumni Center at 326 Galvez St. Look here for directions. Parking is available in Parking Structure 7 which is next to the Patterson Building (08-050G) at 663 Serra Street.
The event’s collaborative, non-competitive atmosphere offers an alternate setting for students to explore the joys and power of mathematics with other kids and older mentors.
We provide the mathematics and mathematicians to work with the students on the activities. Please bring an adult to provide supervision of your children/students. Admission for kids is $10; supervising adults are free. If you can’t afford the fee, there is a checkbox at the bottom of the form to waive it. Registration fee is non-refundable.
Registration at the door is $25.
